EMPOWERING BLACK WOMEN

Sarcoma is a rare and often deadly cancer. For Black women, the odds are worse—diagnosis is delayed, access to care is limited, and survival rates are lower. We’re here to change that.

Our Mission

The Fight Like a Lioness Foundation is dedicated to improving the survival rate and quality of life for Black women living with sarcoma cancer.
We provide guidance on accessing care, offer education and advocacy, and deliver emotional and financial support throughout their cancer journey.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow
